Mojo Stitches - On a low branch

Based on a piece of antique beadwork this lovely bird as a cross-stitch pattern, although it could be stitched in needlepoint as well.

This design has a stitch count of 112w x 162h and only uses full crosses over two.  The model used 1 strand of floss over two threads of linen. It is suitable for beginners to advanced stitchers, and can be stitched on linen, Aida or evenweave of any count that you prefer.
Model stitched on 36-count ‘Red Rose’ by Number12StitchCo on Etsy using Cascade House Embroidery silk. Framed it in a standard A4 frame.
